botox

Botox / Dysport /Xeomin

BOTOX
Botox is the easiest and quickest FDA approved way to rejuvenate your appearance. Botox temporarily smooths frown lines between the brows, crowsfeet, and forehead lines. You will not feel numb or look "frozen". Nobody will know you had something done--they will only know you look great! On average, Botox treatments last 3-4 months.
Botox is also used to treat hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating). No more ruined shirts. Clients who get Botox injections for excessive sweating find it an effective treatment for 6-9 months.

DYSPORT / XEOMIN
Dysport and Xeomin are the newest FDA approved botulinium products on the market. With three products to choose from now, see which one you like best.

dermal fillers

Dermal Fillers

Aura carries the most widely used FDA approved fillers. Juvederm, Voluma, Vobella, Restylane, Belotero are made of hyaluronic acid which is found naturally in our bodies. Radiesse® is calcium based which supports and stimulates the growth of your own collagen.
Fillers are wonderful products to replace volume loss in such areas as nasolabial folds, cheeks, marionette lines, jaw line, lips, under the eye, ear lobes, and hands. At Aura, we spend considerable time getting you comfortable and well-numbed (bruising is a risk, but is ususally minimal).
You will never have an overdone look. Our goal is to enhance your features so that you look great without anyone knowing you had anything done. We also incorporate the Injectible Thread Lift™ technique to not only replace volume but, to actually lift using filler products. Please call for a consultation to see which filler is right for you!

fraxel restore

Fraxel Restore

FDA approved since 2004, Fraxel is the pioneer and gold standard for fractionated resurfacing. While most lasers are very indication specific, the Fraxel Restore laser addresses many issues: • large pores • blotchy, coarse texture • crepiness • acne scars • wrinkles
Unlike other laser treatments, Fraxel is able to precisely treat thousands of microscopic areas of skin using pinpoint laser beams that penetrate beneath the skin's surface. Old, damaged skin cells are eliminated, leaving you with smoother, fresher looking skin. A series of four treatments are recommended. Your skin will continue to improve up to six months after your last treatment.
Clients normally experience 3 - 4 days of redness and swelling. Thursday is a popular day to schedule a treatment so, that your skin will be back to normal on Monday. Dryness may last several weeks. After that, your new beautiful skin emerges. We recommend Neocutis and Epionce for fast skin repair and Jane Iredale make-up to hide blotchiness.

sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy

Aura is excited to announce our newest treatment — sclerotherapy. Used alone or with the YAG laser, we can offer a comprehensive treatment to eliminate spider veins.
Spider veins are caused by gravity, pregnancy, heredity, prolonged standing, etc. These small but unsightly clusters of red, blue, or purple veins commonly appear on the thighs, calves, and ankles. It is estimated that at least half of the adult population is plagued with this common cosmetic problem.
Sclerotherapy has been used in Europe for more than 60 years. It was introduced into the US 30 years ago, but has only recently become popular in the past decade.
Tiny injections of concentrated salt solution are injected into the veins causing them to close down. The procedure is well tolerated as local anesthetic is mixed with the salt solution.
